((Hopes you don't mind me starting the second thread, Tai!))
---Julian---
["My name is Octavian Chain. I work at the high school as an administrator. It certainly not as exciting as your job as a chef could be, but I am plenty energized enough..."]
"...You're no nurse, then?" He suddenly felt compelled to call the man out on his lie, and was immediately curious as to why he would do such a thing to run one of his customers off - almost taking offense to it - but he otherwise didn't push it, not wanting to rile the cunning man.
Besides, he could pretty much tell the man was lying through his teeth from the beginning - he was too suave about the situation for it to have been anything more than an act.
(The suave, controlling types.... yeah, I hate those pricks. I musta been feeling pretty lonely...)
["I am also new to this town, and have an apartment on the main boulevard..."]
"Ah, that's not far out, is it?" He fiddled with the sleeves of his coat, being the type to always need something to do with his hands. "And it's Wong. Julian Wong. Or Wong Ju-Lien, as my old man would say it, heh."
He really wanted to break the awkwardness of his chatter, but it was definitely a challenge with Octavian. __________________
"We should go to the beach and enjoy our time I suppose. No harm I that right? Along the way we can speculate at what my brother and your brother are actually doing"
He said, playing coy to have a laugh. He pushed the door and let Kazuo-San out before cupping a Han discreetly on his ass and then walking onwards to catch him up.
"To answer your questions though- I like many things- I have a penchant for reading travel journals and I love reading Gene Roddenberry, although as you come to my age and line of job- you 'll appreciate that I've pretty much all of his books. "
He rambled on a little talking about his dislike for sushi and hard excercise. And as he went along, walking side by side with Kazuo he felt a familiar warmth. However unlike his brother he didn't wish to speed things up. What was the rush? Death? He laughed randomly in the air. __________________
"The beach sounds good, and we can always tease our brothers about what we speculated later when we meet up with them again," Kazuo chuckled and thanked Toshiie as he held the door open. Though he held in his surprise with great difficulty, flushing slightly as he felt something cup his ass.
'Tease,' he thought jokingly as he waited for Toshiie to catch up. So while they were walking down the scenic roads, he listened to Toshiie, absorbing the information the man gave him.
"You'll have to show me them next time, it'll be interesting to see what you like about them." Kazuo responded cheerfully as Toshiie talked about his favourite books.
Further listening more to Toshiie as they walked, and answering any questions that was asked (it was a bit disappointing that he didn't like sushi, but Kazuo won't hold that against him), Kazuo could only marvel at the intricaties of the person next to him. It made him even more curious as to what he could find out more about Toshiie.
So when Toshiie suddenly laughed randomly, he felt an compulsion to find out why. Moving in a bit closer, he had to enquire.
"Thought of something amusing?" He smiled. __________________
"Oh, my house is just a few blocks down, near the bookstore." Alan said softly. He was never a bold person. He always was shy, so he never really talked to people that well.
There wasn't much talking on the way to Alan's house. Alan was never very social, and he only took the other man in because he always had a voice inside his head that told him to do nice things. It never really mattered though.
All through Alan's life, he had been ignored. Nobody really paid attention to him, and even when he accomplished something, it was blown off. Things like that are why he never talked to people, because nobody wanted to listen.
He did ask a few questions though, like "How are you?" and "What's your favourite movie?" but he never asked about the homelessness situation, it just seemed too personal. He never talked about himself though, as it would probably be just a waste of time.
Eventually, they reached Alan's house.
"Well, this is my place. Sorry it's such a dump, but I'm a dump as well so I guess it fits me." Alan said quietly, too timid to say it out loud. __________________ I don't play hard to get, I play to get you hard
"It was just a random thought about how my brother rushes into things as if Death were chasing him...or something rather" he omitted, slightly distracted by the mixture of afternoon heat, the sun in his face and the hotness of Kazuo and his bulky frame pushing what he could only guess was his pheromones.
Kazuo smelled very manly, It was a musky hint of something that he couldn't quite put his tongue on. He felt the silence ingrain into the two of them comfortably and it spurred him on to ask something he would never usually ask:
"What do you normally like to do in the mornings?"
His flip-flops clacking away on the concrete until it started to muffle with the sound of grains being crunched. __________________
"Mornings?" Kazuo thought about it. "Well, when I don't have to work morning shift, I tend to either enjoy sleeping in, or after eating something, go out to see if there's anything interesting to do."
A small silence, and Kazuo listened to the the footsteps of them both as he thought about how to answer further.
"One thing I like to do usually is study buildings while looking for something to do. Baratown has several intriguing architectual designs, so I tend to try and analyse them, try to understand why the original architect went with it in the first place."
A brief comfortable silence, and Kazuo took in a breath of air, tasting the slight saltiness of it.
"What about you, Toshiie-san? Anything you like to do in the mornings?" __________________
"I would like to sleep in the morning...but with a job that pays- its a bit hard to do that. I've got the weekend off (and normally Nagamasa works the weekends too)..But I tend to laze around or water my plants.."
He took a breathe in and felt the sea and the salt mingle around his nasal passage. And then the scent of Coffee and Cinnamon. "Do you miss the construction yard?"
He said, as they reached the beach- ignoring the lush view of men and women, tanning themselves leisurely in the heat. Although he couldn't fathom why people would roast themselves in this manner, he enjoyed the view. So much so that he felt the need to strip his short sleeve shirt off and hang it on his shoulder.
Unlike his brother- Toshiie was a little larger in the chest frame and therefore bulkier on the hips. Which made his definition look larger than life. __________________
"To be honest, a bit." Kazuo couldn't help but blush a bit as he snuck a glance at Toshiie's naked upper body. It may not be tanned like the people on the beach, but he liked what he saw. "But I guess my heart always felt it shouldn't be too stuck in one thing for too long when I was still somewhat young. Try to see if you find something else you can enjoy in life."
Staring over at the ocean, he smiled. "I might look into doing it again soon, though. I did enjoy working hands on."
Feeling the heat baring down on him, he saw a vendor in the distance selling some cold refreshments. "Want something to drink? It's definitely very hot today." __________________
Toshiie blushed as a reaction as opposed to actuay replying. He didn't know what it was that triggered it. Could it have been all the men at the beach and himself suddenly realising how brash he had become because Kazuo was around or was it the sheer fact that Kazuo was drinking in the details of his own body and then askig if he wanted a drink?
He chose the secret their answer after blushing and used his humor to subside what turn out to b an awkward scene for himself.
"Why get drinks when we can drink the ocean? Hahaha! I kid! Kazuo-san, care to join me in the water?" he said vashfully before pullig the zipper down on his jeans ans removing them. He looked at his underwear to make sure it wasn't anything ridiculously bright coloured- and it wasn't. It was only red, and tight fitting except around his sizeable basket which seemed to feel relieved in the air after being stuffed and heated in his jeans. __________________
Caught slightly off guard by the question, Kazuo could only watch as Toshiie pulled off his tight jeans revealing the sexy red underwear underneath. Shaking his head to get the dirty thoughts out of his mind and the heavy blush, he reacted, his mouth on automatic, his hands already pulling off his shirt.
"S-sure!" he checked his own boxerbriefs, a dark green color, before shedding his own shoes and pants. Grabbing his clothes in a pile, he grinned somewhat unabashedly. "Let's just put our clothes somewhere safe, and then we can enjoy ourselves." __________________
He suppressed egging the man on with an outright denial of his accusation, biting the inside of his lip to keep quiet. He had already promised himself to good behavior with Julian, lest another situation like Mako's arose. It pained him a little, mentally, not being able to play with this person as he would others, like that strange person from the restaurant. The thought of him storming out of the building in a rage made him want to smile, but, again, this display was masked by stone.
"Ah, that's not far out, is it?" he asked, in reference to Octavian's apartment, fidgeting with his clothes, "And it's Wong. Julian Wong. Or Wong Ju-Lien, as my old man would say it, heh."
"About thirty minutes from your restaurant," he answered, keeping a remark about Julian's James Bond-esque introduction to himself, trying to think of something to keep the conversation afloat. "Who was that man from before?" he asked, rather bluntly, somewhat curious of the cook and his relation. "You two seemed to be about to get... involved," Octavian added, trying to avoid a lewder euphemism.
---Grant---
The walked to Alan's apartment, which, according to him, wasn't too far away from where they were now. Grant could tell that the guy was pretty shy, because he kinda' kept to himself and tried to make himself seem a little smaller than he was, though to little effect. He felt kinda' bad for Alan, a timid but genuinely, as far as he could tell, good person who didn't know his potential.
Boo. I'll have to fix him for sure. Well, not fix like there's something wrong with him, but make him see himself for what he really is. Or something like that, Grant thought, flashing that dorky grin inside his head.
They walked... and walked... and walked. There were only a few moments of talking, small-talk really.
"How are you?" Alan would ask.
"Great right now. I got a home," Grant responded, smiling w broad smile at Alan in gratitude.
"What's your favorite movie?"
"Eh, not really my thing unless there's singing involved. My Fair Lady is great though."
The ended up at the small apartment about five minutes later, at least that's what Grant guessed. Alan unlocked the heavy door and pushed it open, revealing an adequately sized home, a shirt or two one the floor, but otherwise clean. Well, clean to Grant at least.
"Well, this is my place. Sorry it's such a dump, but I'm a dump as well so I guess it fits me," his host welcomed in a self-depreciative tone.
Harsh.
Grant followed Alan inside, a light scent of sweat and musk hitting his nose. He sat on a nearby navy couch that was parked in front of a modest TV set. He noticed a weight set in the corner, one dumbbell out of the set, a 45. Alan was still standing, looking like he felt a bit out of place.
"So, do you work out?" Grant asked, hoping to break some ice. __________________ I'd spread my legs for Venus.
"So, do you work out?", the other man asked, obviously trying to start a conversation.
"Yes, I do, although not very successfully. I work at the gym nearby here, but I'm not very high up on the employee ranks." Alan said quietly. He wasn't used to having any company over.
Alan went over to his couch and sat next to the other man. He sighed, before looking at the other man again. The other man looked perfect to him, but Alan had very low standards, so even a rock could be considered better looking than himself in his eyes.
"I'm sorry that out of all the people that could've taken you in, it had to be my lousy self." Alan said frowning, obviously depressed.
Alan looked outside the window, to see other people enjoying themselves. Alan sighed, wishing that people would accept him. __________________ I don't play hard to get, I play to get you hard
RE: BaraDate - Season 2!
((Sorry Comma, I've been waiting on Tai to reply but he told me to go on ahead ;A; ))
---Leam---
He had to smile at the big man's withdrawn demeanor, especially since he seemed to be willing to open up for the two of them, and he was able to see it, feel it happening before him.
It was almost as if he had a sixth sense for it now - now that he had seen what it was like to be opened up, even if for a brief moment - he could feel the man's shyness as if it were a physical force radiating from him, and he wanted to cure the man of his insecurities, no matter what it took. He wanted to show the man that it was okay to take a peek, that it wasn't so bad out of his shell, as Mako had done for him already... and was still doing.
The man spoke, still awkwardly, but it was strangely endearing.
["Hi, I'm Comma..."]
Leam was taken aback by the hand extended to him, but with little hesitation he nodded, and took it in his own (or rather, as much of the massive man's equally large hand as he could - its grip still managed to encompass his own, a fact that he couldn't help but blush at).
"I-I'm Leam. This is Mako," he rattled, introducing the two of them just as awkwardly.
---Julian---
["Who was that man from before? ...You two seemed to be about to get... involved..."]
He glanced back at Octavian in a curious manner before replying. "I hadn't met him before today... just a plain ol' diner, I'd assume." He coughed, words becoming slightly more distant and detached at the reminder of the man. "B-but I suppose you took note that, uh, he was... well. You'd say... hittin' on me. Definitely wasn't that comfortable with it... though... to be honest...."
He looked on into the street warily, eyes flickering betwixt light poles.
"To be honest I... was actually kinda thinkin' about... going along with it."
He coughed once more, one of the few obvious nervous ticks he had. (Most other ticks were just from impatience or aggravation...)
"I-I mean, you know, it's been a while, and I may be turnin' an old man and all but hell, even I have my needs...... Shit."
He tossed fuck all into the wind and reached in his coat pocket for a tin case, pulling out a smoke and lighting it. (I know I'll be needing it now...) __________________
He blushed as Leam introduced the two of them. It was odd to have Leam suddenly take the reigns, even though in all honesty he hadn't known him that long. Still it was something nice.
Mako puffed his broad chest and outstretched a hand (as he did so, he swatted Leam's ass as a "Well done" for taking the initiative)
"Nice meeting you Comma"
--------Toshiie---------
"Nah! Just bring them with us! Here!"
Suddenly getting the feeling that he sounded like Nagamasa and probably acted like him, Toshiie took Kazuo's clothes of him, placed it inside his jeans, and did a couple of loops and knots before getting it into a ball shaped mess of clothes.
"There we go!, Now let's go to the water!" Treading slowly on the pipping hot sand __________________
RE: BaraDate - Season 2!---Octavian---
To Octavian, the man seemed completely broken down and ashamed about what had transpired earlier with... that other man. It made him feel kind of bad to have exposed this side of Julian to the world, the unprofessional, weak side of him. He had an urge to further exacerbate the cook's anguish, but, again, repressed it. He didn't to make any sort of comment before they got to the park, which was in sight already, for fear of saying something snarky. It would have been so easy to push this man too...
Then Julian grasped for a shiny, rectangular box in his coat and withdrew a single white stick from it, lighting it with a lighter, also held in the case. The smoke blew into Octavian's face and he himself tensed up, finding the scent of the burning tobacco and tar revolting, breathing in only as much as needed.
When they reached the park, there was a prominent, "No Smoking! Protect Our Families!" sign posted at the entrance, which Octavian thought may cause some consternation in his drinking companion.
"I can bring tea back while you continue with your... activity, if you'd like," he offered and turned toward the park, waiting a moment for Julian to reach a decision and to turn his face away from the noxious smoke.
---Grant--- Really harsh. Man, lighten up on yourself.
"Hey, man, I went with you because you're nicer than the other people who just went by me and though about nothing but me being street trash or somethin'. At least you got the heart to reach out to a guy without a home," he rebutted Alan, getting kind of mad that he was beating himself up, even if he's the best guy he's met these past few weeks.
Then Grant's stomach growled again, louder than ever before, signaling hunger to the entire apartment. He let out a grunt and grabbed his aching belly. "Oh yeah, I forgot I was hungry," he said, laughing at himself. "Hey... do you mind making us some food? I don't really know my way around a kitchen, my Mama used to do all that stuff, so I never really learned. Heh." He bashfully scratched his head, hoping Alan was at least a cook of any sort, bad or good. __________________ I'd spread my legs for Venus.
Not even barely a moment after he took the first, calming drag of the cigarette, his vision was accosted by one of those damned anti-smoking signs. (Every damn time-) Though the other, far more prominent sign was that of Octavian, who seemed to be immediately disgusted by it.
He still had to remind himself of how bad his little "habit" was and how many people actually find it disgusting.
["I can bring tea back while you continue with your... activity, if you'd like..."]
"Eh, sorry about that, I'm..." He rubbed his hand over his forehead, looking down noncommittedly at the concrete beneath him. "I just gotta... have a smoke sometimes, when my nerves get the better of me..." He reaches again for the container, extinguishing the burn on the surface and sticking the half-spent stick back in its place. "Though I am trying to cut back. I'm down to two a day, even..." (Though I gotta wonder why I even started doing it in the first damn place-
Feeling the warmth of the sand underneath his feet as he followed Toshiie, Kazuo took in a deep breath. He couldn't help but stare at Toshiie's red covered buttocks, moving teasingly with every stride he took. Blood rushed downwards very fast before Kazuo could stop himself, his manhood suddenly becoming semi-erect.
'A-ah...' he winced internally as he tried to adjust his boxerbriefs, a bead of sweat dripping off his body. 'Not the right place to do it, not the right place to do it,' he chanted a mantra in his head when he felt the cool water splashing over his feet.
"Time for some fun, ne, Toshiie-san?" he smiled. __________________
Alan forced a smile towards the other man. Grant didn't seem to like the fact that Alan always abused himself, even though it was all true in Alan's mind. He was always insulted when he was a kid, so he had lacked self esteem since he was twelve.
'You're not street trash. I'm the only one that's trash here' Alan said to himself. He often defamed himself, even when people weren't around to hear it.
"Yes, I don't mind making food. I'll probably end up giving you food poisoning though because I'm lousy at cooking, as well as pretty much everything else in life", Alan said, pouting.
Alan went over to the kitchen, and shouted over to Grant.
"What do you want to eat? I have a lot of stuff in!" Alan shouted, sounding very sad. __________________ I don't play hard to get, I play to get you hard
He drops their clothes on a dry patch near the coast guards bench, wrapped his hard and calloused hands around Kazuo's huge bicep and swung him forward, catapulting him into the waves.
He chuckled and then ran in after Kazuo, Grabbing the muscles on his ribs and sides, pushing him forward with his crotch throbbing against Kazuo's pert ass __________________
